Sno-Ho

Snow in the city is always a pleasant reminder of nature's existence. Its presence brings us back to the reality that  NYC is actually part the of natural world; as other worldly as it may seem, we are still at the mercy of The Mother. For most of us, this reminder is a happy one. Despite the inconvenience, it makes everything new and exciting again-- we are reassured that, despite the comforts of city living, we can indeed "survive" outside of our city norm. Suddenly, being snowed in at the apartment is like camping! Working from home seems like a special event, one you get excited about! Why does a change in a routine, a break from the norm always seem festive? Today we let down our guard and broke out the home office here in Sno-Ho.

Suddenly, the city is magical!

Unfortunately, snow is always chaperoned by its far less glamorous cousin: slush...

Somehow, today ended up being the day when I could procrastinate no longer on the laundry front.  Brought the camera along for a little documentation.
