Pizza with the Girls! FYI- it was invented in New Have

New Yorkers like to believe that pizza was invented either here in New York, or Italy-- but these are both horrible misconceptions. Pizza was invented in New Haven and the only unknown is whether it was at Sally's ('here') or Pepe's ('here'). Both are currently know for two things: their absolutely glorious pies-- the white clam is a personal favorite, also the pepperoni with broccoli-- and their abysmal service, though I think Sally's takes the cake in the hostile servers category. Bottom line: there is no where else in the world where people will wait in line for hours to get pizza and its freaking delicious.

A world away, it was Pizza night with the girls at Rivoli Pizza in the West Village...

It's just so good...

Chatting to her slice about how yummy it is...

Isn't it so nice when you think something is finished and then there is one perfect last sip...
