Superbowl Sunday! Unfortunately, our team lost. I was actually surprised at how well SG took the loss. We watched at my cousin's, SLS, apartment and the event was heavy on the girls (MOST importantly, the A-Mazing EA- congrats on her recent victory!)-- which was great because this meant the event was also heavy on the food. I made the Steelers themed cake--and despite the fact that it looked like it had been decorated by a toddler in person, it was very photogenic.
ALP brought the Miller Light, just to piss of SG by patronizing a beer brewed in Milwauke, and therefore brewed in support of the opposition.
There were moments of hope!
In the end, it did not end well.
Guess we will have to take down the Christmas (candy canes), Birthday (H- BDAY) and Steelers (Terrible Towel) decorations that have been hanging/accumulating in our kitchen for the past month...
